Our access-controlled data security lab includes a custom built air-actuated punch that will produce 3,000 lbs. of force to physically destroy a hard disk, which is obviously not the ideal route for reuse. The preferred option is wiping disks, which we can do even beyond the recommended US DoD 5220.22-M processing standard.
